TicketMakers

TicketMakers 🎫

This project enhances TicketMakers’ online concert ticketing platform by adopting a modern, cloud-native architecture that builds on the existing system to address critical issues limiting performance and user experience. Key challenges such as bot-driven scalping, hidden fees, poor responsiveness during peak demand, and disorganized last-minute ticket releases have impacted customer satisfaction and competitiveness. The solution introduces a secure, auto-scaling cloud infrastructure for improved resilience, AI-powered fraud detection for fair access, transparent pricing APIs to eliminate hidden costs, and predictive analytics to optimize ticket inventory and sales. By modernizing its architecture, TicketMakers aims to provide a seamless, efficient, and scalable ticketing experience that meets evolving customer needs and supports long-term growth.

💡 Problem Solved

TicketMakers tackles key challenges in concert ticketing—such as performance issues, hidden fees, and unfair access—through a cloud-native solution built on Microsoft Azure. The platform leverages Azure Kubernetes Service ** for container orchestration, Azure Front Door for global load balancing and low-latency content delivery, and Azure CDN to ensure fast and reliable performance during traffic spikes. Azure AI services and Web Application Firewall (WAF) Bot Protection are integrated to detect and block scalpers and malicious bots in real time. Pricing transparency is achieved through Azure Functions and API Management, delivering dynamic, location-based pricing with no hidden fees. Additionally, Azure Monitor and Application Insights support predictive analytics and automated ticket inventory optimization. These components work together to deliver a secure, scalable, and user-friendly platform, ready to support growth across global markets.
